This unit introduces Reception students to the fundamental gymnastics concept of flight through progressive jumping, bouncing and leaping activities. The focus is on developing body awareness, spatial control and creative expression whilst building confidence in airborne movements. Through structured exploration and creative sequence-making, students develop essential coordination skills that form the foundation for all future gymnastics learning.
