This unit introduces Reception students to fundamental gymnastics concepts through playful, safe exploration of body movement and control. The emphasis is on building confidence in basic movement patterns whilst developing essential listening skills and spatial awareness. Through progressive challenges involving jumping, balancing, and apparatus work, students develop body awareness and coordination that forms the foundation for all future physical activity.
