This unit introduces Reception students to fundamental object manipulation skills through progressive, play-based exploration that builds confidence and spatial awareness. The focus is on developing hand-eye coordination, basic ball control, and movement awareness in a safe, supportive environment where students can explore different ways of controlling objects whilst moving around others. Through carefully structured activities, students develop the foundational motor skills essential for future ball games whilst building social skills and spatial understanding.
