•Arrange in straight lines 2m apart initially, then 30cm for slalom
Alternative: Bean bags, markers, or coloured spots
Distribute before tagging activities
Alternative: Strips of fabric, ribbons, or bandanas
Create clear defined areas for each activity
Alternative: Rope, chalk lines, or natural boundaries
To avoid or escape from someone by moving quickly and cleverly
To move quickly to one side to avoid something or someone
To move forward towards a target or goal
To protect or guard against something
Moving sideways with feet staying parallel
Understanding where you are in relation to others and objects
Understanding where pupils are coming from and where they're going
Counting tag belt collections, understanding sequences in cone activities, directions and positional language (left, right, NESW)
Understanding forces in pushing off movements, balance and stability concepts, reaction time and reflexes
Compass directions (North, East, South, West), spatial relationships and mapping concepts
Self-confidence building, teamwork and cooperation, handling competitive situations positively, resilience when caught in games
Move around perimeter during games for full visibility, centre position during demonstrations
Watch for correct sliding technique, spatial awareness, and confidence levels throughout

Use students as examples where possible, exaggerate movements for visibility, always demonstrate safety aspects clearly
Minimum 20m x 30m hall or playground area, clear of obstacles
Even surface suitable for running and sliding movements, no wet patches
Stop all activity immediately, assess any injuries, provide appropriate first aid, comfort students as needed
