This unit introduces Year 1 students to the fundamental skills of sending and receiving objects through a carefully scaffolded progression from cooperative play to competitive challenges. The emphasis is on developing accuracy, body awareness, and tactical thinking whilst maintaining the joy and fairness essential for young learners. Through partner work and progressive challenges, students build confidence in object control whilst developing early understanding of space and strategy.
