Position at corner of activity area for maximum visibility, move between students during partner activities
Watch for correct catching technique, safe movement patterns, and positive social interactions
Step in if unsafe movement patterns develop, if students become frustrated with difficulty, or if competitive activities become too intense
Use clear, exaggerated movements for demonstrations. Involve confident students as helpers when appropriate. Show both correct technique and common mistakes for clarity.

Non-slip surface, even ground, appropriate footwear for surface type
Stop activity immediately if injury occurs, assess severity, administer appropriate first aid, contact office if required
