This unit introduces Year 1 students to the fundamental concepts of striking and fielding games through collaborative hit, run, and catch activities. The emphasis is on developing basic hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness whilst learning the joy of working together as a team. Through progressive skill-building, students discover how individual actions contribute to team success, building both physical competence and social understanding in a supportive, game-based environment.
