Dance
•Year 2
•6 Lessons
This unit develops Year 2 students' ability to translate stimuli - from mini beasts to poetry to pictures - into expressive dance movements. Through a carefully scaffolded journey from individual exploration to partner choreography, students build both technical skills (levels, pathways, body shapes) and creative confidence. The unit uniquely combines imaginative themes that resonate with young learners whilst developing fundamental choreographic thinking and collaborative performance skills.
