Watch for quality of collaboration, unison accuracy, character expression, and emotional wellbeing throughout lesson
Step in early if partnerships are struggling with decision-making, provide additional support during unison practice, address performance anxiety with encouragement
Use student helpers to demonstrate concepts, exaggerate good and poor examples for clarity, maintain explorer character throughout all demonstrations
Minimum 8m x 12m clear space, suitable for partner work and safe movement
Clean, dry, non-slip surface free from obstacles and hazards
Stop activity immediately if unsafe behaviour occurs, assess any incidents calmly, provide appropriate first aid or support, adapt activities if needed for continued safety
