Understanding where pupils are coming from and where they're going
Counting successful passes in progression activities, measuring distances for target challenges, angles of ball movement and rebounds

Step in when safety spacing compromised, support pairs struggling with technique, manage competitive intensity appropriately
Use exaggerated movements for clarity, show common mistakes alongside correct technique, involve confident students in demonstrations
Minimum 20m x 30m hall or playground area, wall space desirable but not essential
Level, dry surface free from debris, adequate grip for safe movement and direction changes
