This unit introduces Year 2 students to fundamental gymnastics concepts through progressive body awareness and partner work. The focus is on developing control, coordination and spatial understanding whilst building confidence in movement exploration. Through systematic progression from individual balances to collaborative sequences, students develop both physical skills and social cooperation essential for gymnastics participation.
