Stand at side of lanes for best observation of all students, move between lanes during practice
Head position - looking forward not down; Arm action - bent elbows with pumping motion; Leg drive - high knees with powerful action; Foot contact - landing on balls of feet; Overall coordination and rhythm

Use slow-motion demonstrations to show technique clearly, exaggerate movements for visibility, provide both correct and incorrect examples for comparison

Dry, flat surface free from holes, debris, or slippery areas
