This unit systematically introduces Year 3 students to handball through a carefully sequenced progression of individual skills leading to collaborative team play. The emphasis is on developing catching confidence and passing accuracy before introducing movement rules and defensive concepts. Through engaging 'champions' and 'heroes' language, students build technical competence whilst developing tactical awareness for this exciting invasion game.
