This unit introduces Year 3 students to yoga as a holistic practice that develops physical strength, flexibility and mental wellbeing through mindful movement and breath control. The focus is on building confidence with foundational poses whilst exploring the connection between breath, movement and emotional regulation. Through progressive sequences moving from individual practice to creative partner work and themed flows, students develop both physical competence and valuable tools for self-regulation and focus.
