This unit develops Year 4 students' understanding of tag rugby as both an individual skill challenge and a strategic team sport. The focus shifts from basic ball handling and safety awareness to sophisticated passing techniques and tactical decision-making. Through progressive skill development and increasingly complex game situations, students learn to read the game, create opportunities through deception, and work collaboratively to outmanoeuvre opponents whilst maintaining the core values of fair play.
