This unit challenges Year 5 students to refine advanced gymnastics techniques whilst developing sophisticated sequence-building skills. The journey moves deliberately from individual technical mastery through partner work to culminate in creative group choreography, emphasising both physical precision and collaborative artistry. Through exploring symmetry, asymmetry, and counter-balance techniques, students develop body awareness, trust, and aesthetic understanding.
