Each defender is responsible for marking one specific attacker
Players must release the ball within 4 seconds of receiving it
Understanding where pupils are coming from and where they're going

Step in if students making illegal contact or becoming frustrated with defending
Use enthusiastic demonstrations to show that defending can be exciting and rewarding
