This unit develops Year 5 students' tactical understanding of tag rugby by progressing from individual passing techniques to coordinated team strategies in both attack and defence. Students refine advanced skills like miss passes and loop passing whilst learning to read game situations and make strategic decisions under pressure. The unit culminates in authentic tournament play where students apply their learning in competitive contexts whilst developing leadership through officiating roles.
