This unit introduces Year 7 students to handball through a carefully structured progression from fundamental ball skills to competitive match play with officiating responsibilities. The emphasis is on building technical competence whilst developing tactical awareness, with communication and decision-making woven throughout. Through varied practice contexts, students develop confidence in both attacking and defensive situations, culminating in tournament play where they demonstrate skills both as players and as officials.
