This unit introduces Year 7 students to tag rugby through a carefully scaffolded progression from individual ball skills to collaborative team tactics. The focus is on building technical competence alongside tactical awareness, enabling students to understand both the 'how' and 'why' of decision-making in invasion games. Through increasingly complex game scenarios, students develop the confidence to apply skills under pressure whilst appreciating the importance of communication, fairness and teamwork.
