Lesson 1

How can mastering the fundamentals of catching and fielding transform you into a confident softball player?
Key Objectives:
- • To develop the knowledge and understanding of the basic fundamentals of softball including catching, fielding, and batting grip
- • To be able to perform different types of catches (fly balls and ground balls) under control using correct technique
Lesson 2
Big Question:
How can choosing the right throwing technique give your team a tactical advantage in softball?
Key Objectives:
- • To perform both underarm and overarm throws with accurate technique and appropriate power
- • To understand when and why to use different throwing techniques based on distance and game situations
Lesson 3
Big Question:
How can smart fielding decisions turn defence into attack?
Key Objectives:
- • To perform the basic pick up technique when fielding with correct body positioning and footwork
- • To understand tactical decisions about which base to throw to in game situations

Big Question:
How can I control where the ball goes when I hit it?
Key Objectives:
- • To understand and develop knowledge of the correct methods of hitting the ball and coordinating body rotation
- • To perform the correct techniques of hitting, body rotation, backing up and retrieving the ball
