This unit introduces Reception students to fundamental ball skills through a carefully sequenced exploration of different body parts and movement patterns. The emphasis is on building confidence, control, and accuracy across rolling, stopping, throwing, catching, bouncing, dribbling, and kicking. Through playful 'superhero' and 'friendship' metaphors, students develop essential hand-eye and foot-eye coordination whilst discovering how different body parts can control a ball effectively.
