This unit introduces Reception students to fundamental manipulation skills through engaging, play-based exploration with diverse equipment. The emphasis is on developing hand-eye coordination, tool use, and basic object control whilst fostering cooperation and following instructions in a safe, supportive environment. Through progressive equipment changes, students build confidence handling different objects and tools, laying essential foundations for future games and sports.
