Model appropriate pacing by jogging alongside students, demonstrate gear changes with exaggerated movements for clarity, show determination through body language and verbal encouragement
Minimum 20m x 30m clear area, preferably with marked boundaries for perimeter running
Dry, even surface free from hazards, suitable for sustained running activities
Stop activity immediately if any student shows signs of distress, provide rest and water, seek medical attention if symptoms persist
