If you roll with your right hand, step forward with your left foot
Safely catching or stopping a ball that comes to you
An empty area where you can move safely without bumping into others
Understanding where pupils are coming from and where they're going
Counting successful throws, measuring distances to targets, understanding concepts of near and far
Understanding how heart rate changes during exercise, exploring forces needed to roll balls different distances
Directional language (forwards, backwards, sideways), spatial awareness and positioning concepts
Cooperation and teamwork, showing resilience when tasks are challenging, celebrating others' achievements
Move around area perimeter to observe all students, position centrally for demonstrations and instructions
Watch for correct technique development, safe spatial awareness, and positive cooperation between partners
Step in if students showing unsafe movement, demonstrating incorrect technique consistently, or showing negative interactions with partners
Always demonstrate technique slowly and clearly, repeat demonstrations 2-3 times, use exaggerated movements to ensure visibility for all students
Minimum 15m x 20m clear area, larger preferable for full group activities
Non-slip surface free from water, leaves, or debris that could cause slipping
Stop all activity immediately, assess situation, provide appropriate first aid or support, ensure other students are safe and supervised
