This unit introduces Year 2 students to the foundational athletic skills of running, throwing, and jumping through progressive challenges that build confidence and competence. The emphasis is on developing spatial awareness, power generation, and movement quality whilst maintaining the playful, exploratory nature essential for this age group. Through varied activities and obstacle challenges, students discover how their bodies can move efficiently and safely in different contexts.
