Stay mobile throughout the lesson, positioning at different edges of the activity area to observe all students and interactions
Watch for safe landing technique, smooth transitions between jumps, effective partner cooperation and communication
Step in immediately for unsafe landing, provide extra support for students struggling with combinations, mediate any partner conflicts quickly
Always demonstrate jumping techniques clearly with exaggerated safe landing. Use students as positive examples when appropriate. Show mistakes and corrections to help learning.
Minimum 15m x 20m indoor space or equivalent outdoor area, free from obstacles
Dry, even surface with adequate grip - avoid slippery floors or uneven outdoor areas
Stop activity immediately if injury occurs, assess injury level, provide appropriate first aid, contact school procedures for serious injuries
