This unit develops Year 2 students' jumping abilities through a carefully sequenced progression from basic spatial awareness to creative movement combinations and competitive application. The emphasis is on building confidence in fundamental jumping techniques whilst fostering creativity through linking movements and applying skills in game contexts. Through playful exploration and structured challenges, students develop both physical competence and the ability to adapt their jumping skills for different purposes.
