Alternative: Footballs, soft balls, or foam balls
Using the inside surface of your foot to push the ball to a teammate
Watching the ball carefully as it moves towards you
Stopping and steadying the ball so you can pass it accurately
The person who is going to catch or receive the ball
An empty area where you can move or send the ball safely
Understanding where pupils are coming from and where they're going
Counting passes accurately, estimating distances for passing, understanding angles and directions
Forces and motion - how hard to kick for different distances, friction between ball and surface
Directional awareness, understanding of space and positioning, mapping movement patterns
Cooperation and teamwork, communication skills, resilience when facing challenges
Move around area perimeter for clear view of all groups, position near groups needing most support
Watch for correct inside foot technique, ball control, and awareness of others
Step in when students struggle with technique, unsafe play occurs, or groups need activity clarification
Use slow-motion demonstrations for technique, exaggerate key points, involve students in demonstrations when appropriate
Minimum 20m x 30m clear area suitable for running and ball work
Dry, even surface free from hazards, adequate grip for movement
Stop activity immediately, assess situation, provide appropriate first aid or support, restart when safe
