This unit introduces Year 3 students to the fundamental components of fitness through exploration, self-discovery, and personal challenge. Rather than focusing on competition, the emphasis is on understanding what their bodies can achieve and developing a positive relationship with physical activity. Through progressive skill-building and baseline comparisons, students learn to appreciate their own improvement journey whilst building essential movement foundations that support all future PE learning.
