A pass where the ball is pushed to the floor to bounce once before reaching your team mate
A direct pass from chest height using both hands for shorter distances
A one-handed pass from shoulder height used for longer distances
Once you catch the ball, you cannot move your landing foot - you can only pivot on it
Turning on the spot using your landing foot as an anchor point
An empty area on the court where you can move to receive a pass safely
Understanding where pupils are coming from and where they're going
Counting consecutive passes, measuring distances between partners, angles of passes and movement
Forces applied to ball during different passes, trajectory and bounce physics, reaction times
Directions and compass points for movement, spatial awareness and mapping court positions
Teamwork and communication, resilience when intercepted, managing competitive emotions
Move around perimeter to observe all pairs, position centrally during demonstrations
Watch for correct passing technique, footwork rule application, and safe play
Step in when students struggling with technique, safety concerns arise, or conflict between students
Use exaggerated movements for visibility, demonstrate common mistakes as well as correct technique, involve confident students in demonstrations
Minimum 20m x 30m clear area, ideally netball court or gymnasium
Dry, even surface free from obstacles, non-slip flooring
Stop activity immediately, assess situation, provide appropriate first aid or seek additional support as needed
