This unit develops Year 3 students' communication, teamwork and navigation skills through progressive outdoor challenges that build from basic map reading to advanced trust-based leadership activities. The focus is on creating a supportive learning environment where students develop confidence in both leading and following, whilst mastering fundamental orienteering concepts through hands-on problem-solving experiences.
