This unit empowers Year 4 students to understand their physical capabilities through systematic exploration of fitness components. By starting and ending with personal assessment, students develop ownership of their fitness journey whilst building knowledge of speed, strength, coordination, agility, balance and stamina. The focus on personal improvement rather than comparison creates an inclusive environment where every student can identify and celebrate their progress.
