This unit introduces Year 7 students to core football techniques whilst developing their tactical understanding of how skills combine in competitive situations. The progressive structure moves from isolated technical practice through to decision-making under pressure, preparing students for independent participation in football. By emphasising the connection between individual skills and team success, students develop both competence and confidence as they transition into secondary PE.
