This unit develops Year 8 students' ability to apply core striking and fielding skills within the dynamic, fast-paced context of Danish Longball. The focus progresses from technical accuracy and communication to sophisticated tactical decision-making under pressure, bridging the gap between isolated skill development and authentic game performance. Through this traditional Scandinavian game, students experience the cognitive demands of invasion-style play whilst refining throwing, catching and spatial awareness.
