This unit introduces Reception students to the fundamental movement skill of jumping through safe, progressive exploration. The emphasis is on developing confidence with whole-body coordination whilst building spatial awareness and control. Through playful discovery, students progress from simple two-footed jumps to more complex hopping patterns, establishing the foundation for all future locomotion skills.
