Ball Skills
•Year 1
•8 Lessons
This unit introduces Year 1 students to fundamental ball handling through a systematic exploration of different body parts and movement patterns. The emphasis is on developing a sense of 'ball friendship' - treating the ball as a partner rather than an object to be forced. Through playful investigation and gentle progression, students build confidence with rolling, catching, kicking, and dribbling whilst developing whole-body coordination and spatial awareness.
