This unit introduces Year 2 students to the foundational athletic skills of running, jumping and throwing through playful, animal-inspired activities and relatable sporting connections. The emphasis is on developing whole-body coordination and technique awareness whilst building confidence in fundamental movement patterns. Through progressive skill-building and exciting challenges, students discover how their bodies work as integrated systems to create speed, power and accuracy.
