This unit combines the physical benefits of yoga with Year 2 students' natural love of storytelling and imaginative play. Through themed adventures spanning jungles, arctic landscapes, space, nature, history, and underwater worlds, students develop fundamental yoga poses whilst building concentration, body awareness, and emotional regulation. The cross-curricular approach connects movement to learning about different environments and cultures, making yoga accessible and engaging for young learners.
