This unit introduces Year 3 students to the core athletics disciplines - running, throwing, and jumping - through a progressive journey from skill development to competitive application. The focus is on building proper technique in each discipline whilst fostering a positive attitude towards competition, personal challenge, and sportsmanship. Through carefully structured progression, students develop both physical competence and the social skills needed to compete fairly and supportively.
