Lesson 2

How can I control the ball while moving and stay aware of others around me?
Key Objectives:
- • To develop the ability to dribble the ball whilst maintaining control and keeping head up
- • To understand and apply basketball terminology including double dribble, travelling, and triple threat position

How can we use different passing techniques to keep possession and work as a team in basketball?
Key Objectives:
- • To develop accurate chest pass and bounce pass techniques with consistent foot positioning and follow-through
- • To apply passing skills under pressure in competitive game situations

How can we keep the ball in our team when the opponents are trying to take it away?
Key Objectives:
- • To develop passing techniques on the move with accuracy and control
- • To understand how to maintain possession through quick decision-making and communication

How can we use the BEEF technique to become accurate shooters and help others improve their game?

- • To develop shooting technique using the BEEF method (Balance, Elbow, Eye line, Follow through)
- • To understand when and where to shoot for maximum scoring opportunities
