One ball per group of 4-5 students for activities

The player who throws the ball underarm to the batter to start each play
The player who catches the bowled ball and throws it away to score points called rounders
Players who retrieve the ball from the field and return it to stop batters scoring
The player who stands behind the batter to collect balls that are missed or dropped
Throwing the ball with a straight arm in an underhand motion from below the waist
A point scored in rounders when a batter successfully runs to a cone and back
Understanding where pupils are coming from and where they're going
Technical vocabulary development, listening skills during instruction, verbal communication during team activities
Forces in bowling and throwing, friction between feet and ground when running, effects of exercise on heart rate and breathing
Directions and spatial awareness when positioning in field, mapping movement patterns around bases
Counting rounders scored, measuring distances between bases, timing activities, understanding angles of ball travel
Teamwork and cooperation, managing emotions during competitive games, showing respect for rules and opponents
Move around groups during activities to observe technique and provide feedback, position at corner during games for full field visibility
Watch for correct bowling technique, safe running and fielding, understanding of roles, and positive teamwork
Step in if students are not following safety rules, struggling with technique, or if disputes arise during games
Always demonstrate new skills slowly first, then at game speed. Use students as examples when they show good technique. Be enthusiastic to maintain engagement.

Dry, even surface free from holes, wet patches, or debris
Stop all activity immediately with whistle, assess situation, provide appropriate first aid if needed, ensure other students are safe and calm
