This unit introduces Year 6 students to lacrosse through a carefully structured progression from foundational stick skills to competitive match play. The focus is on building technical competence with the lacrosse stick whilst developing tactical awareness and sporting values essential for invasion games. Through increasingly complex game situations, students experience the unique challenges and excitement of lacrosse whilst transferring their existing invasion game knowledge to a new sporting context.
