This unit develops Year 7 students from individual ball mastery through to tactical team play in hockey, building both technical proficiency and strategic understanding. The progressive approach moves from isolated skill development to dynamic game situations, emphasising creative problem-solving and intelligent positioning. Through a combination of technical practice and competitive application, students develop the physical skills and tactical awareness needed to participate confidently in invasion games whilst building leadership and fair play values.
