Stroke Comparison Chart
A single-page chart with three vertical columns for Front Crawl, Breaststroke, and Backstroke. Each column shows: 1) a clear silhouette/action image of the stroke, 2) one-sentence body-position cue (e.g. 'Streamlined horizontal body, small head roll' for crawl), 3) breathing pattern icon/phrase (e.g. 'bilateral every 3 strokes' or 'breaststroke: breathe each stroke'), 4) energy cost icon bar (3 small flame icons = higher energy, 1 flame = lower), 5) best-use note (e.g. 'best for sustained speed' or 'good for steady breathing'), 6) a small tip box 'How to tell if this is working for you' (list: 'can sustain for 10 mins; breathing controlled; not collapsing at hips'). Use simple icons and short bullets so students can quickly choose a stroke to maintain.
