This unit introduces Year 2 students to the fundamental concepts of invasion games through hands-on ball manipulation and simple tactical awareness. The focus shifts from individual ball control to collaborative team play, developing both physical skills and cognitive understanding of space, possession, and defensive principles. Through progressive challenges, students build confidence in handling game situations whilst learning to work effectively as part of a team.

How can I use my hands to control the ball and move towards my target?

- • To move towards a goal with the ball whilst maintaining control
