•6 Lessons
This unit introduces Year 3 students to the fundamental athletic events of throwing and jumping, emphasising whole-body power generation and technique development. Students experience the diversity of athletics through four throwing disciplines and two jumping events, building an understanding that athletic success comes from coordinated movement rather than just strength. The progressive structure allows students to transfer learning between similar movement patterns whilst developing confidence in competitive athletics.
