This unit builds essential object manipulation skills whilst developing spatial awareness and whole body coordination in Year 1 students. The focus is on connecting hand-eye coordination with full body movement, progressing from basic object control to precision tasks that require careful manipulation and threading. Through purposeful practice, students develop the fundamental movement patterns that underpin future sports and physical activities whilst building confidence in their ability to move safely around others.
