This unit develops fundamental athletic movements through playful, cooperative challenges that build physical literacy alongside social skills. Students explore the core athletics actions of running, jumping and throwing whilst learning to work together, support each other's learning, and understand how their body responds to different types of movement. The emphasis on cooperation and team challenges makes athletics accessible and enjoyable for all Year 2 students.
