This unit develops Year 6 students into strategic netball players who understand how individual technical skills serve team tactics. Through progressive skill-building and tactical awareness development, students learn that netball success depends on intelligent movement, spatial awareness, and cohesive teamwork. The unit culminates in a High 5 tournament where students apply their learning in authentic competitive contexts whilst demonstrating leadership and sportsmanship.

How can I stay between my opponent and the ball to become an unstoppable defender?

- • To demonstrate effective ball side marking techniques consistently
- • To identify and execute successful interception opportunities
